Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
Welcome to PharmaDB. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PharmaDB platform, including our website at www.pharmadb.ai, our application at app.pharmadb.ai, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PharmaDB provides supplier research for pharmaceutical sourcing. You specify one or more molecules and the markets you sell into, and the Service produces a supplier map: a structured assessment of the manufacturers and other supply routes that may be able to serve you.
The Service includes:
- The directory: molecule pages and supplier profiles compiled from public sources, which may be browsed without an account.
- Supplier maps: research produced on request against the molecules and markets you specify. A map identifies candidate suppliers, grades the strength of the evidence behind each one, and sets out the regulatory, intellectual property, market and pricing context available for that molecule and those markets. Each claim carries a label describing how it was established, together with a citation to its source where a source exists.
- Request for Information sheets: a list of the matters a map could not establish from available sources, prepared for you to put to a supplier directly.
The Service compiles, processes and presents information drawn from lawful public registers, licensed datasets and disclosures made by companies themselves, and it uses artificial intelligence to do so. It does not provide, redistribute, or republish raw customs data, raw trade data, or transaction-level government records, and it does not publish counterparty-level or shipment-level trade information in any form. Coverage varies by molecule, market and source, and the Service does not warrant that any particular supplier, filing or market is represented.
3. Account Registration and Security
To access the Service, you must register for an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying PharmaDB immediately at support@pharmadb.ai of any unauthorized use of your account.
PharmaDB reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
4. Plans, Map Allowances and Payment
4.1 Plans
The Service is offered on three plans. The current price of each plan is published at pharmadb.ai/pricing and forms part of these Terms.
- Free: one supplier map per organisation in total. This allowance does not reset.
- Analyst: one supplier map a month on monthly billing, or twelve supplier maps a year on annual billing.
- Team: five supplier maps a month on monthly billing, or sixty supplier maps a year on annual billing.
4.2 Map allowances
The Service is metered in supplier maps. One map covers the molecules and target markets you specify when you create it. Allowances are granted to your organisation rather than to individual users, and everyone registered on your organisation's email domain draws on the same allowance.
Unused allowance does not roll over to the next billing period unless your agreement states otherwise. Additional maps may be purchased at the top-up price published at pharmadb.ai/pricing. Maps you have already created remain available to your organisation.
4.3 Payment
Fees are payable in advance in accordance with the plan you select. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in your agreement or required by applicable law. PharmaDB may change published prices, and any change takes effect from your next renewal.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall NOT:
- Bulk extract data: Systematically download, scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the platform in bulk, whether manually or through automated means.
- Redistribute outputs: Share, resell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise redistribute PharmaDB analytics, reports, or outputs to third parties, except for internal business use within your organization.
- Scrape or automate access: Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or any automated tools to access the Service without prior written consent from PharmaDB.
- Reverse engineer: Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or derive the underlying algorithms, models, or data sources used by PharmaDB.
- Circumvent restrictions: Attempt to bypass usage limits, map allowances, access controls, or any technical measures implemented by PharmaDB.
- Misrepresent outputs: Present PharmaDB analytics as raw government data, official customs records, or regulatory filings.
- Violate laws: Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
PharmaDB reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach any of these restrictions.

12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. You must discontinue all use of platform outputs that are subject to confidentiality obligations. Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
